As part of ANSA McAL’s You Will Never Walk Alone initiative to assist our brothers and sisters in St. Vincent and the Grenadines during the ongoing eruptions of the La Soufriere volcano, Carib Brewery Ltd has produced for the first time, a special order of lightly carbonated canned water that will make it’s way to the islands.

Mr. Akash Ragbir, Sector Supply Chain Director, Carib Brewery Limited, said that when Prime Minister of St Vincent and the Grenadines, the Honourable Mr. Ralph Gonsalves, called on the region for an urgent supply of water, the team at Carib Brewery wasted no time in answering the call to support relief efforts.

Just as Carib did in 2020 in creating a milestone in the production of hand sanitizers for first responders in Trinidad and Tobago and in Grenada, they have again risen to the call of duty in 2021 and have now manufactured canned carbonated water for the people of St Vincent and the Grenadines.

The brewery is currently targeting 15,000 cases of carbonated water. With logistical arrangements being put in place with several stakeholders, cases of water will be shipped within the next few weeks.
