TRADE DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
A leading distribution and marketing company and a wholly owned member of the ANSA McAL Group of Companies is seeking to recruit a Trade Development Officer for Tobago.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Manage the sales and promotions aspects for AMCO’s Wines and Spirits in Tobago.
Managing customer accounts re: collections, credits and follow-up of back orders
Maintain good relationships with all customers, keeping them informed with matters related to the orders placed, company policy, special offers etc.
Establish new Accounts for Wines and Spirits products.
Develop marketing/ promotional programs i.e. sponsorships, cross merchandising and training in conjunction with international brand guidelines.
Ensure strong execution of merchandising and promotional events on and off premise.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate must have extensive food/spirit/wine distributor background with 5 or more years in the On/Off premise arena.
The candidate must possess 5 CXC/GCE O’ levels inclusive of Maths and English however a BSc in Marketing or related studies would be preferred.
Excellent planning and execution
Strong communication and networking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
Ability to write reports and business correspondence
Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task
