TATIL and TATIL Life, Group companies of the ANSA McAL Group, collaborated with Standard Distributors Ltd to procure and deliver appliances worth over TT$80,000.00 towards the Home of Football Wellness Centre, Couva.
Working with the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force (TTDF), Ministry of Health administrators at Trinidad and Tobago’s newest step-down facility took receipt of:
• 64 Lasko Pedestal Fans
• 2 Artic King Silver Top Mount Refrigerators
• 2 Whirlpool Microwaves
• 5 Whirlpool Top Load Washers
• 5 Whirlpool dryers
Managing Directors for TATIL and TATIL Life, Mr Musa Ibrahim and Mr Ron Milford stated that they were humbled at the opportunity to be contributing towards this initiative for patients in the fight against the coronavirus.
This spacious stepdown facility that was handed over to the Ministry of Health, was put to use on Monday 20th April 2020 and will provide accommodation to aide in full recuperation for COVID-19 patients.
This is ANSA McAL’s latest involvement with the Ministry of Health as they join forces to combat the pandemic.
In late March 2020, Group company, Standard Distributors Ltd donated 300 mattresses worth over TT$70,000.00 to the Regional Health Authorities in Trinidad and Tobago.
Carib Brewery Ltd, the Group’s flagship company, donated 11 chillers stocked with Malta and Smalta worth close to TT$50,000.00 to hospitals that are part of the COVID-19 frontline response.
Carib Brewery Ltd was also able to manufacture one hundred thousand (100,000) bottles of a world-class hand sanitizer, which were distributed free of charge to members of the essential services all over Trinidad and Tobago.
Additionally, the ANSA McAL Group, together with I Support Our Services (ISOS) and ReThink initiated the country’s National Applause initiative on Thursday 9th April 2020. Thousands of nationals put their hands together in a sound of collective support towards courageous heroes on the frontline of the fight against the pandemic, that was heard throughout the nation.
