McEnearney Business Machines’ (MBM) technical staff ended a week-long training course with international security products company, Tyco, on Tuesday. It was held at the company’s training centre Richmond Street, Port-of-Spain. The course, led by Terrence Dookie, of Tyco, began on July 16. Team members were trained in C•CURE 9000 operating systems.
It is a scalable access control and alarm monitoring, multi-site system built on the Microsoft .NET platform. All aspects of system administration, monitoring, and C•CURE ID badging were covered. There was also comprehensive hardware coverage including the iSTAR® controllers, iSecure Controllers (ISC), and associated readers, inputs and outputs.
All methods of connecting hardware, including network interfaces were covered. The course was heavily focused on hands-on hardware and software labs requiring participants to actually install, configure and troubleshoot the various components. MBM has been a Tyco partner since 2002.
