Job Summary:


This key position in the organization will be instrumental in leading the Company in a new strategic growth direction. The incumbent will be responsible for both bringing in new business and managing the delivery of projects won. The focus will be on satisfying today’s business needs for integrated infrastructure which includes VOIP, data processing/distribution, print solutions, telephony, security access, surveillance and incidence detection.


Also responsible for ensuring that Sales objectives are established and achieved in line with the Company’s business plan through the creation and execution of an annual Sales Plan geared towards promoting Integrated Solutions selling and positively impacting future business growth with respect to Market Development and Sales. Manages, coordinates and leads all sales activities as it relates to integrated solutions while ensuring that the sales and support teams are focused on increasing sales and providing the highest level of customer satisfaction.


 


Key Responsibilities:




  • Works directly with the General Manager in the development and execution of strategic Sales plans and market analysis aimed at retaining and/or increasing market share.


  • Manages the sales team and their activities to ensure the highest level of productivity and the achievement of defined Sales targets.


  • Leads a team of product specialists and solution designers to support the Sales team in the preparation of proposals that meet the Company’s criteria for margin and profitability.


  • Identifies business opportunities and develops action items that allow for competitive leadership and increased volumes while establishing both market and target customer strategies in coordination with the Marketing Manager. Also coordinates with the Director of Operations to ensure that implementation capacity is available within a reasonable time frame.


  • Recommends price ranges and revisions to maintain a competitive advantage and keeps abreast of competitor activities.


  • Visits customers, builds relationships, provides information on integrated solutions and ensures that customer complaints are recorded and addressed in a timely manner and are kept to a minimal.


  • Ensures that all sales staff are fully trained on products and services being offered, how to position them, how to identify cross and up selling opportunities and provides coaching to ensure excellent customer service is maintained.


  • Prepares weekly, monthly and other sales performance reports and forecasts to the General Manager as required in a timely and efficient manner and in relation to established KPIs, targets and objectives.


  • Manages the cash collection process to ensure the timely collection of cash from customers as per established credit and collection terms.


  • Develops and implements trade initiatives to achieve targeted sales volumes.


  • Monitors sales performance and utilizes Sales information as a strategic resource to maximize sales and services.


  • Performs any other related duties as may be required by the function.

 


Qualifications and Experience:




  • B.Sc. in Management, Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent experience.


  • Three (3) to five (5) years executive level Sales experience with a track record for business and entrepreneurial acumen

 


Knowledge and Skills:




  • Solid knowledge of the industry: current Technology knowledge and continuous development.


  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills.


  • Ability to lead team and foster customer service excellence.
