ANSA McAL Celebrates Long standing Shipping Executive

Norman Sabga, Group Chairman and CEO (left) makes a presentation to Cedric Stone, former Managing Director and Chairman of Alstons Shipping and Travel. | The ANSA McAL Executive Committee recently hosted Mr. Cedric Stone, former Managing Director and Chairman of Alstons Shipping, to a luncheon in his honor. Mr. Stone, former Managing Director and Chairman of Alstons Shipping, has a forty – two [42] year span in the ANSA McAL Group’s history, starting in 1966, with Richmond Motors, a then subsidiary of Charles McEenarney, as General Manager for their Taunus [Germany] and Flacon [Australia] until the advent of the local assembly Industry. In 1984, Mr. Stone was appointed Managing Director of Alstons Shipping and Travel, followed by an appointment as the Chairman of the Board of Alstons Shipping and Travel in 2003. In 2005, he retired as an Executive Director, and became a consultant to the Board of Alstons Shipping and Travel. Mr. Stone continues to serve as a non-executive director on the Board of Alstons Travel. |
