The Board of Directors, Staff and Volunteers of The Parent Education for Development in Barbados (PAREDOS) recently hosted an appreciation ceremony at its headquarters in honour of ANSA McAL (Barbados) Ltd, Gillespie and Steel and Consulting Engineers Partnership Ltd. The ceremony was held to thank the companies for their assistance in aiding in the recent renovation of the PAREDOS basement area.

Director of PAREDOS Mrs. Sheila Stuart said “The transformation of the basement which was unable to be used prior to the renovations sponsored by ANSA McAL now provides additional space to accommodate a further 28 children into the Day Care. It has also created three private counselling rooms, a kitchen and storage areas. We are so delighted with the companies that worked hard and our contractor, Mr Uber Bakharia who provided immense support to PAREDOS with this project.”

CEO of ANSA McAL (Barbados)  Mr. Nicholas Mouttet commented “it is always more beneficial if we can find a way of helping organisations to help themselves. This way the additional revenue from the 28 new children into the day care will go a long way to financing the counselling and education needed to provide support to Barbadian families.”
