On Thursday 08th March, 2012 the ANSA McAL Group of Companies sponsored the AFETT International Women’s Day Luncheon at the HYATT Regency entitled “Connecting Girls Inspiring Futures … From playground to diplomatic corridors.”

AFETT (Association of Female Executives of Trinidad and Tobago) and RBC (Royal Bank of Canada) hosted this luncheon to inspire the futures of the young women of ages 15 years and over in attendance.

The schools which were sponsored by ANSA McAL were the Arima Central Secondary School and the Barataria South Secondary School. The students were all elated to attend the luncheon and were accompanied by teachers Ms. Pearl Moore and Ms. Krystal Sookram.

The program commenced with a Welcome Address from AFETT President – Ms. Judy Joseph Mc Sween and a Sponsor’s Address from Ms. Harriet Thornhill – Regional President Personal Banking, RBC Financial (Caribbean) Limited. Nine female Chief of Missions based in Trinidad and Tobago were invited to speak at the event in the “Conversations with the Chiefs of Mission Segment” followed by a question and answer session.

ANSA McAL is proud to celebrate International Women’s Day along with AFETT and the students of Arima Central Secondary School and the Barataria South Secondary School.
