ANSA Coatings Limited and ANSA Polymer Partners with the Fire Services of Arima for Emergency Simulation Exercise

ANSA Coatings Limited (ACL) and ANSA Polymer partnered with the Fire Services of Arima to test their Internal Emergency Response and Incident Command System. This was done with a live simulation exercise at the ACL compound located at ANSA McAL Industrial Park 51-59 Tumpuna Road South Guanapo, Trinidad.

The exercise was based on several scenarios such as activating a fire alarm, evacuating the building, as well as an overall response assessment to the Emergency Fire Call.

The Emergency Response Exercise was led by Mr. Denis Jones of the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Services (TTFS) – Arima Fire Station.

ANSA McAL Group, HSE Manager – Mr. Nixon Gangoo facilitated the drill alongside Mr. Andrus Retoo, HSSE & Facilities Manager – ANSA Polymer Ltd and Mr. Leon Ajodha HSSE Manager – ANSA Coatings Ltd.

The exercise was a resounding success as it highlighted the effectiveness of the internal emergency response teams as well as build on relationships with the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Services, the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management and the Arima Disaster Management Unit.
