JOB SUMMARY

The Management Accountant is responsible for preparing financial reports, analyzing data, and providing insights to support business decision making. Responsible for ensuring financial stability, monitoring budgets and improving efficiency in financial processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and business opportunities.
• Support strategic planning and budgeting processes
• Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts
• Identify cost saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
• Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance with budgeted figures.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
• Prepare management reports, including profit and loss statements
• Assist in internal and external audits
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management
• Develop financial models to support business decisions
• Assess financial risks and opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• An undergraduate degree in Accounts.
• ACCA/CIMA Certification required.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to explain the flow of internal transactions through the organization, and the basic business functions, financial processes and administrative procedures of the organization.
• Ensures that projects or assignments are monitored to track progress and optimal resource utilization; and that adjustments are made as needed.
• Applies aspects of policies and procedures, with guidance, in straightforward situations.
• Demonstrates concern for achieving or surpassing results against an internal or external standard of excellence.
