JOB SUMMARY

The Channel Manager (Hardware) will have primary responsibility for building and strengthening network relationships with Hardwares, Contractors, Dealers, Designers, Architects and other technical groups in the construction sector.  To accomplish this the Channel Manager will focus on the growth of the Building and Specialty block portfolio as well as aggregate under ABEL Building Solutions. The Channel Manager will be responsible for meeting monthly and quarterly quotas while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Align efforts with sector overall monthly targets to contribute to the organization’s overarching goals.
  • Develop strong partnerships with new and existing Customers (Hardwares/ Contractors / Architects / End Users / Consumers) by cultivating mutually beneficial commercial relationships with key influencers, decision makers and partners as required to secure firm Customer Sales Orders for ABS’s products.
  • Ensure timely follow-up with all prospects within two days, fostering strong relationships and maximizing conversion opportunities.
  • Utilize technology to optimize performance and enhance efficiency in sales processes.
  • Effectively manage the budget allocated and strive to meet or exceed monthly quotas and work collaboratively with the Regional Sales Manager to align financial objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of demand plans and implement effective forecasting strategies.
  • Implement initiatives to maximize customer lifetime value and strengthen overall revenue streams.
  • Provide differentiated product offerings to all network clients, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conceptualize, present, and implement sales strategies that ensure a robust local market presence.
  • Provide fact-based analytical information to support budgeting, sales initiatives, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Contribute ideas and insights to expand the product portfolio and enhance market competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and implement strategies for the efficient management of customer accounts.
  • Review process from order to delivery to mirror the AMC Sector standards and maximize fulfilment and ensure good governance across ABS.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for customer concerns and implement initiatives to enhance overall customer service quality.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales Management or related field OR over eight (8) years’ work-related experience.
  • Civil Engineering and Project Management education would be an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft D365, CRM Software, Microsoft Power BI, Digital Marketing
