At ANSA McAL, we recognize a key measure of strong governance is having a diverse, independent Parent Board. A strong Board sets the tone for good governance and at ANSA McAL we have a zero tolerance for deviations from our Core Values. The Parent Board represents and is accountable to the shareholders of ANSA McAL Limited.

Parent Board appointed Sub- Committees are responsible for oversight of key areas of operations, which include the Executive Committee, Audit Committee, Sealing Committee, Compensation Committee, Corporate Governance Committee and Human Resource Working Group. The Group is divided into eight (8) Sectors: Automotive, Beverage, Distribution, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Media, Retail and Services. Each Sector is governed by a Sector Head, who sits on the Executive Committee of the Parent Board. Sector Heads are responsible for the effective monitoring of each Subsidiary’s Board and Management, Day to Day operations, Planning and Budgeting and Capital Expenditure Approvals.

At the heart of exceptional performance lies a culture of strong governance and ethics and much alike the balance sheet, our governance structure is today, the strongest it has been in the company’s history. This is, and will always be, our underlying philosophy. Across the Group, we implemented a number of measures which underpin our confidence around the governance processes and contribute to a “zero tolerance” and “no surprises” culture.
