Carib Glassworks leads in coastal clean-up effort

 



Carib Glassworks Limited in partnership with The National Planning Committee of Trinidad and Tobago and the International Coastal Committee for Ocean Conservancy took the lead of the ANSA McAL team on Saturday 25 September 2010, journeying to Balandra Bay on the North East end of Trinidad to participate in the International Coastal Clean-up.


 


Employees of CGL and other ANSA McAL subsidiaries came together in a highly successful effort at clearing glass, plastic and paper garbage off Balandra Beach, collecting over 1000 pounds of debris.


 


Logistics Manager at CGL, Dave Gajadhar coordinated the activities and expressed deep appreciation to all employees who made the event a success and assured of his company’s continued commitment to maintaining the highest environmental standards and continuing to break new ground in environment preservation
