In 2012, employees of the ANSA McAL stood in front the iconic TATIL Building as the Group celebrated the nation’s 50th anniversary and ceremonial sealing of the ANSA McAL time capsule.
The ANSA McAL Group of Companies has taken up the mantle as the official sponsor of fireworks for Trinidad and Tobago’s 55th Independence celebrations. The fireworks will be displayed from approximately 8.00 p.m. until 8.25 p.m. at the Queen’s Park Savannah and San Fernando Hill on Thursday 31st August 2017. The fireworks will represent a gift to the people of Trinidad and Tobago.
The ANSA McAL Group is not only an engine of growth and dynamism in the corporate world but a true patriot and catalyst for positive change and transformation. The Group, returned the nation’s highest award, the Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to the country from an e-Bay bid in 2016.
The gesture demonstrated the Group’s patriotic spirit for Trinidad and Tobago as well as the values on which the Group was built – Dignity, Decency, Honesty, Integrity and Gratitude and Humility. The O.R.T.T is currently housed at NALIS, Heritage Library. They are the official custodian of the medal.
Throughout the Caribbean region, ANSA McAL continues to amplify its commitment and patriotism. In May 2017, the Group commissioned the “Golden Jubilee Arch” as a tribute to the people of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, to mark Guyana’s 50th anniversary as an independent nation at Cummings Lodge on the East Coast of Demerara.
