ANSA McAL captures top spot


Trading in nine securities produced a total volume of 41,712 shares with a market value of $795,993.71. ANSA McAL Ltd (AMCL) was Tuesday’s largest contributor with 12,580 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $493,277.70.


First Caribbean International Bank Ltd (FCI) posted a volume of 10,000 shares valued at $79,000.00, while Supreme Ventures Ltd (SVL) and Sagicor Financial Corporation (SFC) added 5,000 shares and 3,894 shares, with corresponding values of $950.00 and $46,922.70.



Guardian Holdings Ltd (GHL) and Capital & Credit Merchant Bank Preference (CCMBP) recorded volumes of 3,517 shares and 2,366 shares, respectively, with corresponding values of $50,118.97 and $331.24.


 


Advances dominated trading activity in the ratio of 2:1. AMCL gained $0.39 on its way to $39.89. SVL climbed $0.01 to $0.19. FCI suffered the sole decline, falling $0.15 to $7.90. There was no activity on the Mutual Fund Market. Prices remained unchanged at $5.11 for Caribbean Property Fund (CPF), $3.46 for Praetorian Property Mutual Fund (PPMF) and $70.00 for Savinvest India Asia Fund (SIAF). The Second Tier Market remained inactive with FNCU-Venture Capital Company Ltd (FNCU) and Mora Ven Holdings Ltd (MOV) standing firm at $1.00 and $13.50, respectively.



There was no activity on the Bond Market. The Composite Index fell 1.47 points to 787.12. The All T&T Index increased by 1.55 points to end at 1,104.19. The Cross Listed Index lost 0.53 points on its way to 58.39.
