Abel Building Solutions (ABS) was pleased to contribute and install Katashi Air Conditioning Units, at significantly reduced prices towards the new home of the Purple Pine Foundation.  The official launch of the Foundation took place on Saturday 6th October 2018 in Petit Valley.

The Purple Pine Foundation which started in 2014, is a non-governmental organization which enables learning using technology, educational techniques and peace building to create culturally diverse learning spaces.

This allows extraordinary children to overcome extraordinary challenges in life.

The foundation works with parents, policy makers and communities to provide safe, sustainable and transformative learning environments that are inclusive for children 6 to 16 years of age. These are gifted children battling various health challenges, have different learning abilities and who are not able to thrive in the mainstream education system.

The organisation’s founder – Ms. Maria Colthrust, spoke at the event noting the importance of “children finding the ground beneath their feet” – resilient adults capable of making wise choices for self and others”.

The Purple Pine Foundation is supported by Miss Ysabel Bisnath – Trinidad and Tobago’s 2018 Miss World candidate as well as many other donors.

ABS was pleased to be a part of this noteworthy initiative.
