Overview  


ANSA McAL knows that to have the competitive edge over local and regional firms, it must have first-class leaders who understand the complexities of the fast-changing and unpredictable turns of the Global economy.

As part of a wider strategy to establish an "ANSA McAL Culture" throughout all of its holdings, leadership development plays a key role. ANSA McAL Leadership, must exist in a culture characterized by: 

 


"Excellence, Continuous Learning, First-to-Market, e-Readiness and Loyalty".


This unique ANSA McAL programme has been custom designed as an "ANSA-owned" and "UWI-facilitated" set of activities that applies-like the formation of a diamond-great pressure and heat, in the form of an intense program, which will produce high-calibre leaders. Participants will be selected from the ranks of promising mid-level to Director-level management (just under Chief Executive Officers).

A "Solution-Leadership" Model is employed to meet the demands of Leaders in the global economy within a developing nation context. The Solution-Leadership Model views the leader's job as identifying issues (local, regional, & international) and understanding their impact on the performance of the organization. It further facilitates the development of workable strategies that will align the enterprises with the new business realities of the Global Marketplace.

The Solution-Leadership Model comprising the following "Seven Leadership Competencies", which forms the content of the ANSA McAL Leadership Programme.
