Business Profile:
Caribbean Roof Tile Company Limited, (CRTCL) was formed as the result of a Joint Venture Agreement between ANSA McAL Ltd. and Boral International Pty., an Australian Company with significant presence in the clay brick and roof tile markets in the US. Production and first exports commenced June 2006.
The Italian-designed facility will produce in excess of 13 million pieces of clay one-piece S roof tile, as well as the two-piece mission tiles, with a staff of 90 persons. The tile design follows the “true S” profile, which also facilitates installation of the unique “faux mission”. The product offering will include these two profiles in a minimum of six different colours and blends.
Sales are geared mainly for North America, where a sole distributor, US Tile LLC, has been appointed. ABEL has been appointed sole distributor for all CRTCL products in Trinidad and Tobago and all of the Caribbean. |
