Penta Paints Caribbean Limited is one of the largest manufacturers of decorative paints and coating solutions in the English speaking Caribbean. With foundations in the original ICI (West Indies) Ltd. company, the flagship Penta brand has been at the forefront of Trinidad and Tobago’s paint industry and across the CARICOM region for over 35 years. Its architectural products are continuously developed from original ICI technology, to meet the demanding requirements of tropical/ local conditions. Penta is also a major supplier to the Caribbean Automotive Refinishing market, and is the sole distributor for PPG Nexa Autocolor and PPG Deltron brands, as well for Glidden Architectural. Penta also warehouses the ICI Devoe brand of Indutrial Maintenance and HeavyDuty Coatings. Penta Paints is committed to manufacturing and suplying quality products; towards this end it acquired and activley maintains the ISO 9001.2004 QualityManagement System Cerification.
Penta Paints employs 140 people and maintains a fully staffed Technical Department responsible for ongoing product development, raw materials and finished goods, training quality control and continuing process improvement. Annually, Penta produces over 3 million litres of paint and exports to the o all major territories within the CARICOM region, including Belize, Jamaica, Barbados, Guyana, Suriname, St. Kitts and St. Vincent.
